Beyond civilizational dialogue: A multicultural symbiosis in the service of world politics
This book raises the themes of religion, culture and civilization, from the perspective of a Muslim who tries to provide a contemporary context for the religious teachings he believes in. According to the author, comparative studies based on exclusive knowledge are inadequate, and dialogues based on the religion, culture and civilization of each dialoguer are insufficient to achieve a level of mutual understanding and respect. Prospective leaders should equip themselves with knowledge about the cultural heritage of mankind (the buman bertage). This is an academic task that should be a mandatory course at universities, whatever the major, and whatever religion the student adheres to.
