This paper assesses the role of Indonesian Missions in empowering diaspora entrepreneurship, focusing on their collaboration with Indonesia Eximbank under the 2020 Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The primary aim of this paper is to evaluate the effectiveness of the current support mechanisms for diaspora entrepreneurs and to propose strategies for enhancing the role of Indonesian Missions within the framework of the MoU. The paper argues that while the collaboration between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Indonesia Eximbank is strategically sound, it lacks direct support mechanisms tailored to the unique needs of diaspora entrepreneurs.
