This book is a collection of writings by Australian academics who study Indonesia from a variety of perspectives—political, economic, social, and international relations. Published by the Research School of Pacific Studies at the Australian National University, it provides an in-depth analysis of Indonesia’s development in the second half of the 20th century, including post-independence political dynamics, economic growth, social structures, and bilateral relations between Indonesia and Australia.
