Implementing Indonesian economic diplomacy through international development cooperation in the framework of South-South and Triangular Cooperation

Since early 2020, the world has been facing Pandemic COVID-19. Restrictions and policies followed the Pandemic COVID-19 has also affected all countries in the world. The pandemic has given great recession to all economy countries in the world. In this regard, it is hoped through Indonesian economy diplomacy, Indonesia could recover together with other countries. For this reason, international development cooperation in the framework of south-south and triangular cooperation is needed in order to realize solidarity and strengthen collective action among developing countries to move forward together.

The impact of the pandemic Covid-19 also given a changed behavior to all countries. In this regard, people has used to digital technology in their all aspects life. This paper argues that Indonesian could benefit greatly from the using digital database information as a way to conduct and implement its economy diplomacy. This app will make current approach more up to date with present global situation, more comprehensive and more reliable as well as accessible to interest parties who would like to seek information digitally.

This paper list several recommendations in the development of Indonesian digital database information, especially for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to contribute as general guideline in designing and implementing database information
