Economy diplomacy: Supports Pacific elevation through Indonesia-South Pacific trade connectivity (Depapre Port as International Hub)

This paper discusses the concept of Pacific Elevation introduced by the Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs and argues for the importance of developing cooperative economic diplomacy projects to support the policy concept. The paper uses SWOT analysis on the project of an International HUB Port in Depapre, Papua, and discusses the critical elements of business shipping in ports and funding options for the project. The paper concludes by highlighting the potential benefits of developing an international HUB port in Papua, including economic development, improved infrastructure, increased trade, and environmental protection. The development of an international HUB port in Papua could bring significant benefits to the region, including addressing some of the issues faced by Indonesia in the Pacific region. However, it is essential to carefully consider the potential impacts of the new port on the environment and local communities and to ensure that the development is sustainable and inclusive
