Making technical and vocational education and training (TVET) as one of the priority agendas during Indonesia’s G20 Presidency 2022

This study examines opportunities to strengthen Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) cooperation among G20 members to improve human resource development and address labour market demands. It explores Indonesia’s vocational education policies and identifies Germany, China, and the United States as potential models for international collaboration. Based on literature reviews and interviews, the study analyses strategic approaches to developing effective vocational training systems and provides policy recommendations to support intergovernmental cooperation, skills development, and employment opportunities.
