“Afghanistan conflict 2021 and beyond: the role of Indonesia on conflict resolution”

Once again, Afghanistan will be facing uncertainty for its future. The Biden Administration has decided to withdraw US military force in Afghanistan on 2021 to end the longest war on American history. This decision will have impacts regionally and globally, especially when the world still facing the Covid – 19 pandemics.
Indonesia has actively support and involved in Intra-Afghan Peace Process. One of the efforts which Indonesia has been done is involving muslim scholars on both countries as an alternative avenue to end the conflict in Afghanistan. This paper intended as a policy recommendation for the users and using the backcasting and moonshot method to develop a scenario on Afghanistan post US military withdrawal.
