Structured community engagement can improve diplomatic outreach, cultural representation, and people-to-people connections. Developing a dynamic demographic database of Indonesians abroad can help diplomatic missions identify relevant expertise, influence, and community networks to design targeted and measurable public diplomacy programs. Data-driven and inclusive engagement can strengthen soft power, deepen international relationships, and increase the effectiveness of community-based public diplomacy.
